little Sing-let has arrived!
he was born by c -section at around 1:30pm, weight 9oz.
Gem gave me a scared this morning. Colin and I were sleeping with her last night, she was digging her whelping box from 12 midnight but nothing have happened. I started to see a dark filled water bag at 6:40am and thought it was her water bag and puppy should come soon, obviosuly NOT.
I took her to the vet at 8:30, Kevin have a good look at her, her water bag was still intact and he can feel the litte tail inside her. As the water bag has not broken, Kevin suggested I took her home to see if she will give birth naturally in the next three hours. I didn't even dare to blink but nothing pop out, so off we go back to the vet at 1pm. Kevin had another feel at her and confirmed her water bag has broken and she started to dry out, this time, with Kevin's end finger, he can feel the hind leg's hock and he decided he would not wait any longer.
I left Gem with Kevin for the c-section, waiting impatiently at home. Kevin said it should be over within an hour but it took him three hours as we found something else (not going to go in detail). It took Kevin a while to get the little man to breath on his own.
I am so glad mum and little boy is home now.
mother and boy are well

Congratulations to Gem and Sing on the little one. But what a drama. Know what it is like a a dashound we whelped had a c section and those hours in the vet are ghastly. So celebrate the birth and here's to happy grandparents Lian and Colin.
